After arrival on the small airstrip of Maun, you will be picked up from the airport by a driver who brings you to your accommodation, where you will receive your fully equipped 4x4 vehicle.
The rest of the day you will have plenty of time to relax before your trip starts. | | | 2 | Caprivi | You will start your trip at the west side of the Okavango Delta and go north towards the Namibian border. You will stay at the riverbank of the Kavango river and will have plenty of time to discover the surrounding areas of which the small and less-visited Mahango NP is a real highlight. After two nights you will continue on the Caprivi strip in the eastern direction towards the Botswana border.
But before crossing this border, you will stay one extra night on the Caprivi strip, so you have also time to visit for example Mudumu NP or visit the African market in Katima Mulilo. | | | 3 | Caprivi | | 4 | Caprivi | | 5 | Kasane | Kasane is basically the entrance of the world famous Chobe NP. This national park is known for its huge concentrations of wild animals. You can easily spent here three days.
Especially the part of the National Park at the waterfront is ‘magical' and can be explored by car and by boat.
Kasane is also the ideal starting point for excursions to the immense Victoria Waterfalls in Zimbabwe /Zambia. After your return to Maun , you can prepare yourself for the next adventure. In a small group and together with a guide, you will visit the famous and unique Okavango Delta.
You can choose yourself for how long and how you want to visit this beautiful area. You can for example travel by Mokoro boat for 2 days and sleep in a camp in the middle of the Delta. Really a nice and adventurous experience. | | | 10 | Moremi NP | | 11 | Moremi NP | | 12 | Maun | After your stay in Moremi NP you will leave the park via South Gate and go back to Maun for a night in a real bed again with all the Western luxury.
